When Tom Hopper’s first trailer for Cats dropped last July, he immediately. He became the target of humor. The design of the characters – mainly the cat / human hybrid – outshone a lot of people, and the issue didn’t go away when the preview went live and when the movie was made. (And no, later visual porn effects didn’t even benefit from editing).
Surprise, surprise, though: it could have been worse than it really was. As annoying as big cats are, I’m not convinced that anything matches the level of horror shows that recently released fantasy art featured in the film’s home Thai Lottery video special.
